Naming Conventions

It is very important that the lesson plans and unit plans in the Learning Library are all named using the same conventions. This helps immensely when the site is being searched and allows for immediate identification of a particular plan. Following these conventions also lists the pages in the order they will be taught.

• Remember to add the leading zero to the Year, Unit or lesson number.
• No need to add leading zero to the Term.
• Please do not add any hyphens.
• Leave a space between each part.
• Consistency is the key.

Some departments do not teach units in a particular order so no numbering system is applicable, your units will however be listed alpha-numerically and this needs to be taken into account when you name your plans.
